Mission
Our mission is to align the AECO industry and build the commons to solve coordination problems and accelerate regeneration in the built environment.
Vision
Create the conditions to establish regeneration as the dominant paradigm in the built environment.
OUR WHY
The built environment is at a pivotal moment in history. The current trajectory of our industry's efforts towards addressing climate change with sustainability as the paradigm is insufficient in avoiding the resulting tipping points. While we've made strides in making our buildings sustainable, it's time we leap forward into a regenerative future.
We aim to accelerate this transition by building new systems which redefine our relationship with nature and the built environment. Systems which not only value harm reduction but actively heal our planet, reverse the damage of the past, enhance human well-being, and nurture our communities. This is not a distant utopia, but a tangible future we can build.
HOW DO WE GET THERE?
Innovations at the intersection of regenerative economics and Decentralised Finance (DeFi) allow us to realign incentives and empower communities to work collaboratively towards shared goals. We can now ascribe value to every positive contribution that makes a project regenerative and equitably distribute value fairly by rewarding stakeholders. We have the tools to coordinate and create new socio-economic systems that inherently recognise and reward the creation of public goods, such as open-source software, open frameworks and digital Measurement Reporting and Verification (dMRV) protocols.
